Sorry Peter . Just read further back in the posts where you already explained it. Teach me not to read further back!
Hi all, it's still very confusing in here because I don't get emails through (well, when I remember not to ... ).
I'm sure our mods will do a great job making it easier to find everything. Big task you have ahead there by the sounds of things Mary! :silly:

Great news from the Doppler scan Mrs Shingles. 🙂 xoxo
Hi Di,
No, it's not a big task; it's just that a discussion started in the "suggestion box" that didn't belong in there. I have almost finished moving the posts to the places that they belong. I suspect that this comes about either:
1. By people receiving emails and clicking on the link to take them to the post and then replying, not noticing that it is in the wrong place or:
2. People using the "recent topics" heading and replying without noticing that the post is in the wrong place.
The easiest way to find your way around is to log in, click on "Forum Home" up the top and then each thread will tell you (in green I think) how many new posts are in that particular thread. Then you can reply to the ones you wish to reply to. Before you log out, you can click on "mark all topics as read" up the top and that will clear the green notifications.
That's the way I have always done it and it seems to be the least confusing. That doesn't mean that others haven't found an easier way of course 🙂
I hope I haven't made all of this even more confusing. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have.
Mary

Mary,
Why not just main 'Headings' with the topics under their suitable Heading?
example
HEADERS that then have the appropriate topics in each.
Prescription Medications
Natural & Alternative product topics
Exercise
General chit-chat for members (members may use private to post in here)
Food
Pain Management
Ailments, Conditions, Diagnosis
Treatments, Procedures, Operations
GP’s, Specialists, Allied health professionals and Chronic Pain
Not suited to any current heading (mods’ make a new heading if deemed needed)
That's pretty much it!
Di
Hi Di,
We have just spent a considerable amount of time to get the forum into an organized layout with the various sections and their descriptions. The only problems arise when people are not checking to see that their post has been put in the appropriate section and then others post after it (usually because they have clicked on an email link). Then we have a conversation about medications in the "Forum Suggestions" thread.
That's all it was. Not a big thing really. The headings are easy to follow. It's just a matter of having a quick look before you start a new thread to make sure that it is in the appropriate area.
Cheers,
Mary

Fair enough Mary. 🙂
I still find it all too heavily focused on main headings for pain management (should be topics) in a one main heading so we'll just agree to disagree on that one.
You and the other mods are doing a great and usually thankless task for all of us, so I'd like to say;
🙂 Di

Hey Don,
I had a cute little visitor yesterday. :cheer:
This is a better shot of his full length. I was scurrying him off the patio before the two puppies got had a chance to see him. 😆
I would not like to get to close to that little brown, enough venom to kill a small army, we are having trouble with them down here as well, snake catcher is getting 10+ calls day in the local suburbs, seems they have had a good breeding season.
Don
 Hey... Noooooo...It's just a green tree snake that's got more brown than green in it I think! I was right up to it and moving it along.
Well, I don't know about that Mrs Shingles. If Don's right then I'm b..... stupid. 😆 I've freaked out now and just sent the photos to my snake catcher for confirmation on what type of snake it actually is.
