Hi all,

Wishing you all a stress free and merry xmas

Hope you all have as much pain free as is possible during the xmas period as is possible!

Its hopefully a time that will some here will at least find some tranquility, peace, relaxation, and as good time as it can get, with family, friends and loved ones.

Hope you new year gives you better health outcomes than the previous year!

Sincere Regards and Wishes
Jay

P.S Also 2 posts remaining but my upper back pain says stop until at least after xmas - till then you won't have to put up with my lunacy and sick sense of stupid humor - haha :woohoo:

P.S. I am wishing for a less upper back pain Santa - so hopefully I will not have to rely on Mr Ludwig Beethoven so much!

Hi Collin

AS my goldfish Fred who thinks hes a psychatrist said over his glasses and pipe "Madness is all in the mind."

I refuse to let him treat me unless he bulk bills and gets a more comfortable couch.

Hes considering it

Hi Jamie,

How the heck are you? Been a long time since we have heard from you.
Thanks for putting up the Christmas thread.

Merry Christmas to all at CPA. Thank you all so much for all your ongoing work and advocacy on behalf of all of us. We have a long way to go, but the understanding of chronic pain has come a long way in the past 10 years. The awareness has been raised by CPA and National Pain Week.

Thank You!!
Mary

Hi Peter

Sorry for the lengthy stay away, but not knowing what was happening, was bringing distress to myself and everyone else here and so I was forced to stay away for my own and everyone else's benefit.
So to answer your question of how I am, would be a very complex question that I cannot answer truthfully to someone who I would not lie to and to answer it honestly would require a book since its so complex and traumatising to any caring human being like yourself, whilst I can afford the psychological strongest of humans to become emotional, I cannot bring myself with my O.C.D. of trying to help others, the possibility of others becoming traumatised for life as a result of my own COMPLEX-PTSD issues. If you think CRPS is COMPLEX than multiply that by 1000 times and you have C-PTSD- haha
Having said that, I can tell you that the recent diagnosis of C-PTSD has been 13 years of xmas presents all in one (so its very merry xmas for all from my perspective) and it has allowed to me to understand my need for physical and psychological consistent and ongoing torture and trauma, so that at least I can begin to understand it and thus hopefully prevent it. It will not stop society from not knowing what to do with me and trying to make me run away and die quietly, I unfortunately have more physical pain than before with all these fandangled physical condition medical names that I can't even remember them (haha - I can remember bursitis the easy one) but the experience gained from finally seeing the picture of this massive traumatising and torturous jigsaw puzzle over so many years has made me psychological stronger, more determined to fight in a positive way and given me a greater understanding of compassion but more importantly a thousand lifetimes of experience in fighting physical and psychological pain.
Of course this raises more inquisitive questions than answers I know but I will try to explain gently some of this less complex, less trauma and less torture in my current post of balancing toxic pain – it will take me week or two to reply and cost me five inputs when I was just about even - haha

So it’s actually easier in this post to keep is simple and happy and just say Merry Xmas to you in particular, it’s good to hear you and talk to you and I thank you particularly for your service to fight against pain and your OCD of helping others in pain– haha

I wish you less pain for an xmas present and thus now give you a virtual 20 second hug (you will need to grab someone and hug them in my place for the effect but let them know its from all of us, including me!)

Sincere Regards
Jamie

and once again merry xmas to all as well (more hugs)
