Hey Brad your most welcome....how are you going to manage your pain when you come off the patches? Will they try another medication for you? I'm changing to Jurnista today when I pick them up this afternoon because the same as you the meds I was taking wasn't giving me any pain relief.

I'm just wondering how your going to cope?

I haven't a clue I'm scared to drop anymore because of pain returning and the withdrawels were hellish. I see the gp on Tuesday afternoon jurnista made me sick. The pain management !! doctor !! back ally said take nothing flat out nothing is the best then replied I have NO time to discuss anything with you afterwards the whole 4 of us. so don't bother me with questions about your medication's.

Mate, no you can't die from pain but god sometimes you wish you could.

Do you have some of your other meds, maybe take some for now and then when it settles go back to where you were.

In all cases I think it's better to take the tablet than smash your head off a brick wall, cause that just causes more pain when you wake up πŸ˜› .

I can't help other than to let you know I'm here, if you want to talk.

Stay strong and don't let the monster win.

β€œAll the elements in your body were forged many, many millions of years ago, in the heart of a far away star that exploded and died. That explosion scattered those elements across the desolations of deep space. And came together to form you, you are unique in the universe.

The topic is pain explosion, well it's not really a physical, but its still an extremely painful thing...my auntie just posted a song on Facebook by called Why by Rascall Flats, it triggered an extremely raw reaction. This is the poem/note I wrote in response.i don't think it even really makes sense but let me know if you can relate/understand...

Tom it's funny in a way how the human mind works, a song, memory, some ones reaction or words, a sign or countless reactions we have on a daily basis can trigger not physical pain but emotional pain. So do I get your poem and where you are coming from certainly, I think many CPer's can understand how badly that pain can be and to get over.

Hi Tom,

I get your poem too! Would it be asking too much for you to write it out here because it is very hard to read? I know you are busy at present, so if you don't have time, then that is ok πŸ™‚

Through the cigarette smoke, those tears I choked,
Too numb to cry, Too confused to try, to understand the sadness behind the smile. O how I cried.
Locked away, a memory saved in file, that presents itself all the while. No longer I cry.
After the tears, it's not death I fear, but a life I don't hold dear, A life that no day clears...

Miss you cuz, R.I.P Haydn

Brad, I have to ask you. Why are you reducing your medication down to virtually nothing?
Who has told you that you have to reduce to near nothing and sit there at home in agony?

If you are doing this yourself, because you don't wish to take so much medication, then why on earth are you doing this to yourself?

Sorry for the questions, just trying to get my head around why you are doing this to yourself.

Peter
