It seems to me that there is considerable amount of gatekeeping and censoring on this forum which I think limits its ability to be a really useful, informative and meaningful resource to people dealing with chronic pain. I have never been open to medicinal cannabis but I'm hearing so much positive stuff being declared about it lately that I came here hoping to illicit the views and experiences of others on the matter but unfortunately it looks as tho that conversation was shut down and locked off well over 6 years ago and I would suggest the explanation for doing so is no longer relevant and therefore outdated.

I personally think the suggestion that we are not doctors and therefore cannot discuss controversial approaches doesn't stand up and doesn't serve the forum well. Let's face it, doctors aren't always right, often far from it, so we need forums like this to be able to explore all of the alternatives to conventional medicine. Let's face it, conventional medicine has caused a great deal of harm and suffering to a lot of people, as many of the posts on this forum attest too.

That's my suggestion and I'm very open to hearing opposing views.
