Face-to-face gatherings? was created by Achybones
Hi all

Forgive me if this topic already exists elsewhere on the site, but I can't find it. Does CP Aust run/endorse/encourage members to meet face-to-face, in local informal groups?

I know not everyone is capable of that (I myself am limited in terms of how long I can sit and stand) but I think meeting others who understand what we're going through could help reduce the isolation that so many of us struggle with.

Cheers

Hi Achybones,

CPA doesn't have any formal gatherings of members. However, there is nothing to stop people getting together on an informal basis. I am sure that it would be vey beneficial for all. It is always great to be able to meet with others knowing that you will not be judged in any way because you happen to be in pain!

Would you like to start a thread in the General Discussion area and see if there are any people near you who would be interested in a get together?

Mary
