Hi Vicki,
Thanks for the tip. The dr at the sleep clinic I went to told me to try melatonin. Told me to go to a compounding chemist. I went and got some made up but didn’t help.
Glad it helped you . Oh to sleep, it would be bliss. I envy anyone who can sleep. Harpy

Hi all,
I have been taking PEA for about 5 months.
Our chemist makes it up so it’s easy for me to get.
I have chronic pain and lots of health issues.. thanks Lupus and 2 hip replacements..
I have found that after about 2 weeks I could feel the difference with it.. I started to reduce the amount of MS Contin I was taking.. little by little .
It seemed to let me reduce my pain meds.. not taking the pain away completely.. but enough that I could reduce what I was taking and do so much more.
I would say that I feel 50% better than I did and take 80% less pain medication.
At first I wasn’t sure that it would help.. I wanted to be pain free.. but it is helped me and like I said.. I have been doing so so so much more with next to no MS Contin and in less pain than I was.. so all in all for me I say it’s a win and something I will keep taki g.
I hope others have found some help from it.
Linda

I’m interested in try PEA is this something that your Dr can give you a script for or just purchased from the chemist. Is it subsidised.
I’m also interested in LDN but my Dr says he can’t give me a script.
I’ve been given Opioids for years and they help little.
Any advice appreciated

Hi Chris
I have been on PEA for about 6 months, definitely an improvement.
Seemed to take a long time before I noticed an improvement.
U do not need a script,as there is no assistance.
I pay $40.00 per hundred. On top Medibank but not covered.
Hope this helps,u need patience, as it is not a wonder drug, but helps.
Good Luck
Sam

Thanks Sam, I’ll talk to my chemist and see how I go. Worth a try I reckon.
Cheers
Chris
