Thanks johnno, still waiting to hear back from pain doc after scan on the 11th. I have a gp appointment on the 2nd feb. The pains in my feet/legs is getting worse. I get a little relief from the burning sensation when I bring the esky in and sit my feet in cold water for a few hours and keep filling it with ice. Harpy
Hi mate hope you are getting some relief.
I suffer nerve pain in lower leg and foot (excruciating) and no sleep like yourself.
My massage therapist mixed CBD oil and vicks vaporub together and massaged into leg .I actually slept for three hours after I got home just with the relief.
Not sure if it works with your ailment but worth a thought
It sure is hard to live with that’s for sure . On top of my spine issue my tether is at its end. The last week has been the worse.
I have it in both legs pretty much from hips down now. (It initially started just in my feet April last year. )But with the feets it’s so hard to walk.
3 hours sleep , wow , I’d have to be smacked up the back of the head with a 2x4 to get that much sleep lol. Lucky you.
I see my gp Tuesday so don’t have too long before I know what the heck is going on. Or even will ask to change my meds to as I have got used to the ones I am on now and I don’t want to up them. I will mention that rub mix to my osteopath he maybe able to help. I hope you doing ok.
I know how you feel in regards to meds I'm maxed out on my prescriptions and not sure where I'm going from here.Somedays I think I was better off pre surgery.
Well I hope your gp can sort something for you going forward.is there any pain trials going at the moment you can try I know there is one for sciatica maybe worth asking your gp.
Best of luck and hope you get some results
Well my gp has referred me to a psychologist. No surprise there. Yep they full up and no appointments and will get back to me, no surprise there. GP Told me to persist with my meds. Hmmmmm.
Gave me the copy of my report. Wow now after reading that report. I will ring pain specialist tomorrow and keep on to them in getting me an appointment. I will ask him about any new trials. Never thought there was trials as such for chronic pain. Thanks
Well still no appointments. I have researched a few of the things that were mentioned in the report. I am kinda relieved what the report said as now I know why this pain is got me in it’s grip so much. I have cervicothoracic scoliosis. D.I.S.H in my thoracic spine.
Then cervical, thoracic and lumber spondylosis. my feet and shoulders got a mention . Yep not in my head ! No to get that pain specialist to start my pain relief plan. Definitely won’t be holding my breath.
Anyone else got DISH?
