Chronic Pain Australia is delighted to announce its partnership as an official charity partner of the 2026 Voltaren City2Surf, further strengthening a longstanding relationship with Haleon and Voltaren in support of the millions of Australians living with pain.
The partnership builds on many years of collaboration between Chronic Pain Australia and Haleon. Through its support of initiatives such as National Pain Week, Haleon has consistently demonstrated a commitment to improving the lives of Australians living with pain and helping people stay connected to the activities that matter most to them.
As Australia’s peak consumer body representing people living with chronic pain, Chronic Pain Australia will join the 2026 Voltaren City2Surf, providing participants with the opportunity to raise vital funds to support advocacy, awareness, education and peer support services for Australians affected by pain.
Nicolette Ellis, Chair of Chronic Pain Australia, said the organisation was delighted to be selected as an official charity partner.
“Haleon has been a valued supporter of Chronic Pain Australia and our community for many years. Through initiatives such as National Pain Week, they have consistently demonstrated a genuine commitment to improving the lives of Australians living with pain,” said Ms Ellis.
“We are thrilled to extend that relationship through the 2026 Voltaren City2Surf and look forward to raising both awareness and vital funds for the 3.6 million Australians living with chronic pain.”
“For many people living with pain, movement can be both challenging and important to maintaining wellbeing and connection. The Voltaren City2Surf celebrates movement in all its forms and reflects a shared understanding that supporting people to move safely, confidently and in ways that are meaningful to them can have a profound impact on quality of life.”
“Every dollar raised through this partnership will help Chronic Pain Australia continue providing trusted information, advocacy and peer support to people living with pain, their families and carers across Australia.”
Jenny Walters, Head of Corporate Affairs ANZ, said the partnership reflects Haleon’s purpose of delivering better everyday health with humanity.
“At Haleon, we are passionate about helping Australians live well and maintain the activities and connections that matter most to them. Through our partnership with Chronic Pain Australia, we are proud to support an organisation that provides practical support, advocacy and hope to people living with pain every day.”
The 2026 Voltaren City2Surf marks the second year of Voltaren’s naming rights partnership with Australia’s most iconic fun run, bringing together tens of thousands of participants in celebration of movement, community and charitable giving.
Funds raised through the event will help Chronic Pain Australia continue delivering vital services and programs, including the Painlink Helpline, Pain Support Groups, National Pain Week, Kids in Pain and advocacy initiatives that empower Australians to live well despite pain.
Chronic Pain Australia is encouraging supporters, families, carers, healthcare professionals and community members to join Team Chronic Pain Australia and help make a meaningful difference in the lives of Australians living with pain.
